HMD is not only rumoured to launch its Nokia 8's new variant but is also expected to launch the Nokia 2. The budget smartphone has been making rounds on the web since past few weeks.
This time, Android Headlines has shared a screenshot that seemingly reveals the launch time frame of the rumoured Nokia 2.
According to the screenshot, the Nokia 2 could be arriving in Myanmar by November this year. The image shows a user in conversation with Nokia Myanmar over Facebook Messenger.
The statement by the company's Myanmar Facebook page says "Hi... Nokia 2 is expected to be available in Myanmar in the month of November 2017...Exciting!"
While the month mentioned here is for Myanmar, the Nokia 2 could arrive to other countries before or after November. It is worth adding that some of the recently leaked images of the Nokia 2 showed October 5 as the date on the screen, hinting its arrival on the same date.
However, HMD Global has not yet made any comments or has sent out any invites for the launch.
A couple of weeks ago, smartphone tipster Evleaks posted an image showing the renders of Nokia 2. The image showed the handset in two colour variants - Black and White.
From the images, the models seem to sport a plastic back panel and big bezels at the front on all the four sides of the screen.
The Nokia branding with front-facing camera, LED flash and speaker grille is seen on top of the screen, while the area stays clean below the display.
The volume and the power button can be seen placed on the right side.
At the back there is a camera placed at the centre along with a LED flash just below it. Both are placed encapsulated in the pill shaped enclosure. A single speaker too is seen at the bottom corner speaker.
