Violence or misunderstanding among any organization is normal but when it is repeated severally, leadership ought to take a critical look at the causes and prescribe a solution.
Violence in political parties can lead to maiming; loss of teeth as well as other body parts and in severe cases loss of life.
For some time now, pockets of violence have been recorded at either the National Democratic Congress (NDC) office or at their gathering. Recently a life was lost at a party event when a member of an NDC taskforce attacked another leading to death. It is unclear what led to the altercation and eventual death.
As a country which believes in the protection of lives, I am pleading with the security agencies to be visible at party offices especially the NDC premises to safeguard lives.
