Management of ASA Savings and Loans Company has organized a health screening exercise for about 200 customers of the Achimota Business Centre.
The event which was the first of its kind at the branch, had several customers, their families and children being screened medically by doctors and nurses from Barnor Hospital in Accra.
At the programme, customers were taken through hepatitis B screening, malaria, blood sugar checks among others.
Speaking at the programme, Divisional Manager for ASA Savings and Loans, MD Majad Ali Khan, said the gesture forms part of giving back to society, particularly the customers who transact business with the company in the Achimota area.
“This event is not only a medical screening exercise but as we screen, we offer free medicines as part of the package” he said.
Mr. Khan however said, the company occasionally offers scholarship to brilliant but needy children of customers of ASA Savings and Loans as part of helping and supporting the company’s customers.
Branch Manager for the Achimota Business Centre, Nathasha A. Nelson, said the gesture would go a long way to encourage customers to continuously do business with the company.
“We’ll continue to offer this free service in the coming years for our cherished customers to appreciate our partnership with them” she said.
