StarTimes, the leading digital television operator in Africa has launched its coverage of the 2018/19 Bundesliga season which will be broadcasted exclusively on its platform.
The 2018/19 Bundesliga season, which begun last Friday, will be the 56th season of the Bundesliga, Germany’s premier football competition.
At the launch of the coverage of 2018/19 season in Accra, George Lomotey of StarTimes Ghana noted that most Ghanaians have over the years have had a strong bond with the German top flight league because of the high level of football exhibited the league.
Lomotey added that the brilliant performances of Ghanaian footballers such as Abedi Pele, C. K. Akonnor and Anthony Baffoe, among others during their stints in the league had also contributed to the interest of Ghanaians in the Bundesliga.
He lauded StarTimes for their decision to air this season matches live.
In addition to the Bundesliga games, StarTimes will broadcast other matches from different leagues, such as the French league, and Belgium league, among other leagues in the course of the European football season.
