As part of events to celebrate its 13th year of operating in Ghana, Zenith Bank Ghana Limited, together with its customers and partners embarked on a health walk on Saturday in Accra.
The walk, which was themed: “Zenith Bank Ghana, Bigger, Stronger and Faster,” took place at the bank’s new head office, saw staff, customers, as well as affiliated institutions walk through some principal streets of the capital to highlight the significance of exercise in the corporate world.
Speaking at the climax of the event, the Managing Director of the Bank, Henry Oroh, noted that the walk was well thought-out, as the bank values the health of its staff, partners and customers.
On its current performance, He said, “the Bank continues to grow stronger and stronger in the financial space, by serving its customers well, with effective customer care and excellence.”
Oroh reminded that the bank was able to meet the GHS 400 million minimum capital requirement set by the Bank of Ghana, about 10 months clearly ahead of the December 2018 deadline.
Industry certification
Recently, the Bank attained a Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard and ISO 27001 certificates, Oroh underscored.
The certification among other things is expected to improve the bank’s security posture by minimizing the exposure to risks, the brand perception and customer privacy protection.
The certification shows that the Bank protects the privacy of its customers and safeguards the confidentiality of their information, he said.
This year, Zenith Bank has received about ten awards at both local and international levels.
