Natives of Behenase in the Atwima Kwanwoma District in the Ashanti Region are demanding for the tarring of roads in their community.
In a media interaction with Goldstreet Business’ Kumasi reporter Kamal Ahmed, the emissary for the queen mother of Atwima Behenase, Nana Benewaa III stated since the queen mother was enstooled as the leader of the town, she has secured social amenities such as a toilet facility, educational infrastructure and borehole facility for the town.
However, a desire of inhabitants of the town is to have their roads tarred given they have never set their eyes on a tarred road in the neighborhood since being birthed.
It emerged when it rained, it became difficult to move, a situation they had complained about to authorities without witnessing a change.
They are now pleading to President Akufo-Addo, NGO’s and other organizations to help transform their earth roads.
