As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Pan-African Savings and Loans Limited has organised a free medical screening for existing and potential customers in Accra, Ashanti and Bono Regions.
The screening which is under the health wing of the company’s CSR project was also to mark the celebration of the customer service week celebrated globally in October.
Customers were screened for blood pressure related issues, blood sugar, malaria as well as general health discussions with the health personnel present at the screening.
In an interview with the Daily Graphic at one of the screening session at its Agbogbloshie Branch in Accra, the Head, Corporate Affairs, Research & Customer Service at the Company, Mrs Linda Naykene explained that the CSR activities were focused mainly on education and health as part of efforts to help members of the community in which they operated.
She added that the company’s corporate social responsibility commitment was aimed at strengthening relationships with customers and in local communities or markets within which the company operate.
Other locations earmarked for the screening are McCarthy Hill, Ashtown, Kasoa, Goaso, Nsawam and Nungua
The company, she said, held the screening in seven locations every year and this was rotated on an annual basis.
Funds are safe
Mrs Naykene used the occasion to assure customers that their funds were safe with the institution reiterating that Pan African was a brand that cared.
The company she noted has also supported education related projects for its CSR projects this year.
