Musician Princess Roy, and her ‘Aid to Humanity Foundation’ has recently embarked on a philanthropic outreach programme in Accra, reaching out to children in the Tema Station and its environs.
The gesture, which also forms part of the foundation’s evangelism outreach programme, was also extended to some elderly and vulnerable persons in that area.
At the event, Princess Roy and her team shared food, drinks confectionery as they shared the word of God as well.
“We embarked on a similar gesture last year where the foundation donated items to some children and we want to continue intervening in the affairs of these needy people with our widows might, sharing the good news of the gospel to them especially in this part of Accra,” she said.
The team, after undertaken a cleanup exercise, also supported mothers of some of the children with an amount of money to enable them to obtain toiletries and other needed items temporarily.
As a UK-based Ghanaian gospel musician, Pricess Roy who is the President of the Aid to Humanity Foundation, has been using her talent to positively touch the lives of the disadvantaged in society while using that medium to preach to them.
The foundation, she explained will in the coming years, extend its programme to other areas in Accra and possibly nationwide.
“The passion is to keep doing this for God and humanity, to carry the gospel to everyone by first meeting and spending time with them,” she noted.
