Puma Energy, a global integrated mid and downstream energy company, has partnered with MovingAds Africa, a digital out-of-home advertising agency in Ghana to support its Driver of the Month Initiative through the monthly provision of free fuel from its service stations.
The Driver of the Month initiative is a novel initiative by MovingAds for trotro drivers where the best performing driver in a month is rewarded with items including bags of rice, new batteries for their vehicles, among others. Criteria for the selection of the Driver of the Month include drivers keeping their vehicles in impeccable, safe condition, compliance during monitoring checks and the demonstration of leadership qualities among the fleet. Puma Energy has decided to absorb the cost of a free tank of fuel each month for the best driver to support this initiative.
Speaking at the launch of the partnership, the Deputy General Manager for Puma Energy Ghana, Mr. Kwesi Amanor, hailed the initiative and indicated the potential deepening of this partnership in the future.
“As a fuel company, anyone who works with vehicles is automatically a partner to us. Puma Energy is therefore happy to be partnering with MovingAds on this project. Going forward, we look forward to working even closer with MovingAds to bring more benefits to trotro drivers, private motorists and beyond”, said Mr. Amanor.
On her part, Suzanne Ohene-Djan of MovingAds had the following to say: “We are very excited to collaborate with Puma Energy on this project, because they always show initiative with activities that benefit society.
