Xornam Foundation has recently donated educational materials to 209 pupils in the basic schools across the Volta Region.
The schools include Dzelukope E.P Basic School at Keta (64 Pupils), Ho-Ve Basic School and Hodzo Anyiboboe M/A Basic School (54 Pupils), and the Ziavi Lume JHS (90 Pupils).
The Foundation offered books, pens and mathematical sets to enhance the learning activities of the pupils in the various schools.
Leader of Xornam Foundation, Praise W. Anani, explained that the gesture was to empower the pupils to learn in the most difficult situation and to give their best academically.
“This initiative was to help these deprived rural children understand the need for education. We hope our gesture would whip up a learning interest in these kids,” she indicated.
She noted that the foundation is committed to the need for all children to attend and remain in school as education has become a priority and an option to success.
The Xornam Foundation, she disclosed will continue to intervene in the affairs of underprivileged school children to ensure that their educational needs are partially met.
“The foundation believes it’ll inspire and generate the interest of education in many of these school kids in getting quality education,” she emphasized.
