On Wednesday, February 6, 2019, Republic Bar, Osu, Accra will host a Bob Marley memorial concert featuring some of Ghana’s best reggae musicians. On top of the bill is Kente, one of Ghana’s most colourful reggae bands which rocked the scene for over a decade.
Accompanying the band is Nigeria-based Ghanaian reggae star Francis Goldman, who is appearing for the second time live in concert in Accra.
According to the reggae music frontliners, the show is to mark the anniversary of Marley’s demise, more than a decade ago.
The show which begins at 8pm will also feature other ranking and emerging reggae acts.
