Management and staff of Bosante Enterprise, producers of Unique Mineral Water, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility and its upcoming 20th anniversary celebration, has donated relief items to beneficiaries in Dome-Kwabenya and its environs.
The donation according to the company, was also meant to assist people within the various beneficiary communities in the fight against the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
In all, a total of 3000 bags of Unique Mineral Water and cartons of bottled water was freely distributed as well as free ‘Veronica’ buckets at vantage points within the community.
The company’s CEO, Mr. Kofi Asante Kwachie said the gesture forms part of contributions towards the fight against the coronavirus menace and the need to equip people to continue to practice all safety measures during the pandemic.
He said the donation sets the tone for the upcoming 20th anniversary celebration in August this year, and also offers the platform for the company to strengthen its existing relationship with clients and the community.
Mr Kwachie used the donation opportunity to educate the community about the need to maintain personal hygiene always in order to effectively fight the pandemic.
He said there is the need to regularly wash hands, practice social distancing and avoid crowded places particularly during this season.
He pledged his unflinching support to the community and asked that the items be well utilized for its intended purpose.
