Mr. Kusi Kwaku Eric, the District Chief Executive for Adansi North has commissioned two projects in the District.
The projects are three-unit classroom block for Asilevikrom Junior High School and a Mechanised borehole at Dadwen.
The DCE also commissioned a visitor lounge for Dompoase Senior High School to climax the2017/2018 SRC Week Celebration and issued certificates to small scale mining trainees at University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa.
He also personally donated GHc500 to the SRC, two sets of football and jersey’s, including 50pieces of running vest for boys and girls.
The Classroom block is funded by the ANDA with their share of the District Assembly Common Fund,whiles the visitors lounge is constructed by the 2017/2018 SRC and the borehole is constructed by Anglo Gold Ashanti (Obuasi Mines) as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility.
Mr. Eric in giving the certificate to the small-scale miners advised them not to go and start doing anything but wait until the barn is lifted.
“Even if the barn is lifted, you will go through a process and when successful, you will be given a go ahead.”
The DCE took advantage to explain to the people about the on-going projects in the school by the government, namely, an 18-seater water closet toilets for boys and 18-seaterfor girls by the Ghana National Petroleum Commission and six-unit classroom block by Ghana Educational Trust Fund.
