The Management of the Millennium Development Authority (MiDA) in a statement has confirmed that the Application for Interlocutory Injunction filed by the applicants in the case of BXC Company (Ghana) Ltd and two others versus MiDA has been dismissed by the High Court in Accra, June 8 2018.
The move is in respect of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) PSP Activity and the substantive matter is expected to take its normal course.
BXC Consortium, issued a law suit to MiDA over what it calls unfair disqualification in the bidding process of the ECG PSP Activity.
BXC Consortium was part of the bidders to take concession of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).
MiDA, however selected Meralco Consortium, to manage the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), under the Power Compact Two programme.
MiDA said it will continue to apprise all stakeholders of developments in the case, and will continue to rely on the goodwill of all Ghanaians in implementing every aspect of the US$535 million Power Compact II.
