The platform which is currently operating in 15 African countries, with offices and warehouses in Ghana and Nigeria gives the opportunities for sellers to stock some of their products in GoForBuys warehouses for delivery in Ghana and Nigeria.
Speaking to the press after the lunch of the online classified platform, CEO of Sunawood Multimedia, Dr Roosevelt Eric Dr Adom said the platform is an avenue to alleviate poverty in Africa.
According to him, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), otherwise known as the Global Goals, are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
He added that in an attempt to tackle the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 1 & 2 which talks about No poverty and Hunger respectively by 2030, GoForBuys is using its platform to create and offer jobs and empower thousands of youth across the Africa continent.
Dr Adom revealed that the platform gives the opportunity to job seekers to register as marketers and earn money to better their lives.
