The Green Oak Hotel located on Lokko Road in Osu was awarded the 1 Star Hotel of the year 2017 at the recently held National Tourism Awards. The National Awards now in its 13th Year was established to recognise and reward Tourism Establishments and Industry Practitioners on a National Level, for their excellence in the promotion of, and contributions to the Tourism Industry.
The Green Oak having won 1 Star Hotel of the year in 2015, and 2017 in the Regional Awards, went on to win the National Awards for 2017. The Award which was received by the Hotel’s Proprietor Mrs. Georgette Brew-Aidoo and Manager Ms. Gertrude Ashong was in recognition of the Green Oak’s continued maintenance of standards and contribution to the Industry.
