A baking company with a baking class for kids, Dear Dough Ghana Ltd. has announced dates for its upcoming Kiddie Bake Classes for 2018, giving room for students to master the art of baking as and when.
Dear Dough Kiddie Bake Class is a monthly baking class where 8 to 14 year-olds are taught the basics of baking in a fun and interactive environment. This has become a monthly activity many children and their parents look forward to.
The upcoming classes starting June 9, July 14, August 11, September 8, October 13, November 10 and December 8 is part of Dear Dough Ghana’s strategy to make baking a relaxing activity every individual can master, even children.
Speaking on the new direction, the Business Development Manager of Dear Dough Ghana, Ms. Mariam Nasara said the year-long calendar is one of many exciting plans brewing for Kiddie Bake Class and Dear Dough as a whole “We have plans of going beyond Greater Accra to have classes for children in other regions, among others.”
She added that Dear Dough has made strides in independently organizing three (3) successful Kiddie Bake Classes since its inception in November 2017. “Through our engagements with these kids, they have been able to tap into their passions and abilities in baking and other subjects. The students we’ve had so far were remarkable at baking, I must confess.”
Ms. Nasara mentioned that with about 30 trained children to their credit, Dear Dough continues to cultivate and nurture a love for baking in young children with the hope that these children will grow and use their baking skills to create employment opportunities for themselves and others.
“The testimonials we receive from parents about the progress of our students, are very amazing and comforting”, she said. “I am told some of the kids now try their hands on the recipes at the least chance they get.”
The BD Manager added regardless of the cooking experience of the child, all students are taught and supervised to bake from scratch to finish. “At Dear Dough, we demystify the notion that baking or cooking in general is difficult, it’s rather fun.”
