MultiChoice Ghana has launched a tailor-made business package for its customers who operate in hotels, small pubs and clubs across Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi and Tamale.
The package, DSTV Business Lite, will now see hoteliers pay a viewing fee of GHS50 per room, per month and will include an option for added channels going for GHS15.
Small Pubs and Clubs will now pay GHS150 per month from a previous GHS450.
According to the General Manager for MultiChoice Ghana, Mr Cecil Sunkwa-Mills, some factors pertaining the move resulted in the availability of forex and cedi stability, which allowed the service provider to review and reduce its pricing.
‘’We did a review of the content based on the feedback from our customers and decided to add some more local content, bringing it to 10 from a previous seven channels on DSTV.
“We also moved some of the sports content around into lower packages making it accessible to customers on our DSTV Family package pay GHS65 per month,’’ he added.
He said the Business Lite package has so far been met well by customers and also a relief for the commercial businesses that use the DSTV service.
The General Manager urged hotels, small pubs and commercial entities that patronize DSTV to desist from contradicting the copyright and piracy related activities.
A dedicated DSTV Business Lite phone line; 0302740566 was introduced at the launch to enable customers find information regarding the service.
