Premium Motors Limited, sole distributors of Renault range of vehicles has introduced three new but affordable sets of SUVs in the country.
The three trims, the Renault KWID DYNAMIQUE Renault KWID AUTHENTIQUE and the Renault KWID EXPRESSION all have 3 Cylinder Petrol Engines have been specifically designed to meet the needs of middle income earners.
The KWID Dynamique has a 5-speed manual transmission, power steering, power windows (Front), anti-lock braking system, 7″ color touch screen entertainment system, and a manual driving mirrors without Side Repeaters.
The KWID AUTHENTIQUE also has a 5-speed manual transmission, power steering, anti-lock braking system, CD system with MP3 & USB, Bluetooth hands-free. It also has a 50:50 foldable rear seat back with Integrated ISOFIX Anchors, and a manual driving mirrors without side repeaters.
The KWID EXPRESSION another 5-seater hatchback also has a 5-speed manual transmission, power steering, power windows, height adjustable front seatbelts, anti-lock braking system, CD system with MP3 & USB, Bluetooth Hands-free and a non-color keyed exterior.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony in Accra, Chief Executive Officer of Premium motors, Jihad Hijazi, said they are committed to offer high quality cars to suit different class of people in society adding that they are working to ensure their brand attains the top most position in the automobile industry in the country.
“Renault is not simply a vehicle manufacturer and automobile manufacturer here to design and distribute to a certain class of people. The company is here to stay globally and that is witnessed by the array and multitude of activities that we have taken on a global level,” Hijazi said.
He added that “For Ghana, we do have a very ambitious plan. In the next five years we hope to become part of the top three. Currently we are standing around position six and seven in terms of sales figures. However, in the next three to five years we are looking at position three, two or number one.”
The new vehicles are not only sleek but also have improved technological features that affirms safety and comfort to customers.
Premium Motors Limited took over the Renault car franchise in Ghana from the CFAO group in 2014.
