Financial services provider ASA Savings and Loans Company limited as part of its Corperate Social Responsibility has organized a health screening exercise for the Nungua Community in Accra.
Manager of the Nungua branch of ASA savings and loans, Madam Emmanuella Taylor indicated that the Nungua community has been a major part of their success story hence the giving back to foster a closer relationship with the community .
The exercise, she also indicated was to help people in the community who are not able to often visit medical facilities to check their health status as a result of financial challenges or inadequate time to do so.
“Healthy minds lives in a healthy body therefore we believe if our clients are healthy they can go about their businesses and pay their installments on time as well.” Madam Emmanuella Taylor further stressed.
The main focus of ASA savings and loans limited is to provide financial services to people in the informal sector that are constrained with financial assistance either to establish their own business or expand their existing businesses as well as meet their financial obligations.
