Africa World Airlines’ Richard Kyere says the domestic airline is not afraid of competition with the emergence of new entrants; Passion Air and Unity Air.
Mr. Kyere held that competition was good for business and stimulates growth adding fares on its Accra-Takoradi, Accra-Tamale, Accra-Kumasi fares and other destinations are very competitive
Discount fares range from Accra to Kumasi GHc49, Tamale GHs99 to Takoradi GHc79.
The airline has also welcomed its newest licenced engineers and technicians on the Embraer 145 jet including Edilberto Atencio, Isaac Yaw Oduro Amoah, John Quan (CEO), Kwabena Adomah and Javier Bouchie who work around the clock to ensure the safety and reliability of all your flights.
It’s been over 5 years since the airline was formed with the sole vision of making air travel the best option for majority of travellers within the markets in which we operate including Accra, Kumasi, Tamale, Takoradi, Lagos, Abuja, Freetown and Monrovia.
Its principal founder is Togbe Afede XIV, the Chief of Asogli State and CEO of SAS Finance Group. The shareholders are SAS Finance Group (Ghana), Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) -Ghana, Zhongjia Investment Ltd (China).
