Reggae man, Osagyefo is preparing to release his ‘Reality Check’ new album on Saturday, February 23, 2019.
Osagyefo born Dennis Affram believes music must have a positive impact and as a social commentator keenly following happenings in the country and Africa submits “Africa must have a reality check.”
The ‘Reality Check’ album will be launched at the Bukom Square and has supporting artists Ras Kuuku, Blakk Rasta, Kojo Kombolo, Johnny Blaze, Konkorah, Nayah Fyah and the Orthodox Band on the bill among a host of other acts.
Producers who help craft the 19 track album include Zapp Mallet, Wazumbi, Crownzy Beatz, Brainy Beats and Ibee Onde Beatz and has tunes ‘Place Turn Up’, ‘Every Hustler’, ‘Boho Biom’ and ‘Kanewu’ tipped to do well.
Osagyefo affectionately called the ‘Simple Entertainer’ is a veteran who has shared the stage with global reggae notables including Daddy U Roy, Mykal Rose, Anthony B, Alpha Blondy, Brigady Jerry and Etana.
The ‘Mamponteng’ native born in Old Tafo, Kumasi has in the past offered albums ‘Blazing Fire’ and ‘Simple Entertainer’ to warm acclaim and expects his ‘Reality Check’ new project to fall on very fertile hearts and minds.
