The Headmistress of Besease M/A Junior High School; Madam Angelina Twumasi Akyeaa has lamented the practice where unscrupulous individuals defecate in the school’s classrooms because it is unwalled.
Madam Akyeaa asserts the perpetrators over time have used the school’s classrooms as a place for defecation without punitive action slapped on them.
It emerged several reports have been submitted to the Ejisu Municipal Assembly yet little has been done adding the problem is beyond her control. She called on government and philanthropists to provide the funds to erect a fence wall and secure the school.
The Assembly Member of Beasease and Jamasi in an exclusive interview with Kamal Ahmed acknowledged the challenges facing the school however rallying the Beasease Community to raise funds for school fence project.
The above emerged when one Mr. Okyere Baffuor and Rotary Club of Cincinnati in the United States presented learning materials worth of US$20,000 on Saturday, March 22 in hopes of raising the academic fortunes of the school.
“Rotary Club of Cincinnati and I have collaborated to donate the learning materials to this school in order to rehabilitate effective studies,” Mr. Okyere Baffuor told.
The learning materials include 12 book shelves (cardboard), text books for all subjects-2250, Desks-110 and Computer Tablets-300.
