Puma Energy has rewarded a number of its service station dealers at its annual 2018 Retail Conference and Awards night held in Elmina in the Central Region.
Mr. Hamidu Mohammed, a dealer managing three service stations in the Ashanti Region, emerged as the best-performing dealer during the year under review.
In addition to his citation, he received a crystal plaque and an amount of US$5,000.00. Receiving his award, Mr. Mohammed said he was grateful to Puma Energy for this award and recognition. “I never imagined that the prize would be accompanied with US$5,000! This is an honour and I am humbled,” said Hamidu, flanked by his wife.
Speaking at the awards night, Managing Director for Puma Energy Ghana, Mr. Myles Bouvier-Baird, commended all dealers for their dedication to contributing to the growth of the brand in Ghana.
“We are proud to have you on board as our partners. With you, the Puma Energy retail network is growing steadily, and we acknowledge your contribution to the business. Let us however not rest on our laurels, but strive to achieve even more. The sky is the limit,” said Mr. Bouvier-Baird.
The Retail Manager for Ghana, Mr. Andrews Wiafe, highlighted the challenging nature of the business, making the achievements of the winners all the more commendable.
The awards night was part of an annual Retail Conference weekend organised by Puma Energy.
