The Ghana Stock Exchange has granted four listed companies an extension of time to submit their 2020 audited financial statements and first quarter unaudited financial statement.
The firms are Trust Bank Plc, Bond Savings & Loans Plc, Dannex Ayrton Starwin Plc and SIC Insurance Company Plc.
Whilst Trust Bank, Bond Savings and Loans and Dannex Ayrton Starwin Plc have up till June 30, 2021 to submit their 2020 audited financial statements, SIC Insurance has up till May 31, 2021 to do so.
It is unclear why the GSE gave the companies an additional time to submit their financial statements, which is a requirement by the GSE Listing Regulations.
The GSE had earlier granted such opportunity to listed banks and other institutions.
In March, 2021, it extended the deadline for the submission of the 2020 Audited Financial Statements of six institutions. This comes after the firms applied for the extension.
They were Fank Milk, Trust Bank of The Gambia, Dannex Ayrton Starwin, Letshego Ghana Savings and Loans, Daakye Trust Plc and E.S.L.A.
